At the behest of Carl Cramer, We have teamed up with Michael Storer and JO Woodworks to bring a limited number of Michael's Quick Canoe kit's to the Family Boatbuilding event at the WoodenBoat Show.
These will be basic kits which should allow us all to build some great little canoes to the point of painting. There are two options to choose from:
Standard: This is Michael's original Quick Canoe. It is a very inexpensive and easy to build boat with some unique technical features. More info HERE.
Electric: This is a spinoff of the original Quick Canoe. It is a more stable boat with a transom suitable for a small electric or gas motor. More info HERE.

Included in each kit are: all wood, epoxy, fiberglass, fasteners, and plans to complete one hull. The wood is almost all precut and there will be at least two instructors to help you along. We will have any tools that might be needed. You only need to bring enthusiasm and a willingness to have fun!
Not included are: paint, fairing compound, paddles, motor, pretty girl, dog, life jackets.
So, click the green "buy now" button above and use our secure shopping cart to get started on a great adventure. You will be able to pay with a credit card or a check or any of a couple of other options. Go ahead and click the "Buy Now" button (don't worry, you are not obligated until farther along) and you will see what your options are.

Michael Storer's Quick Canoe is one of the simplest and fastest boats you can possibly build. Most of the wooden parts will be cut out when you arrive to begin construction. All that remains is for you to tape the sides to the bottom, add a few spreaders and then fillet and tape the seams. We anticipate that every family will have a boat ready to paint and paddle by the time they head home.
