These Black Nylon Pop rivets work in a standard pop-rivet gun. Obviously they won't rust, but even better, the pin pops off level with the flange and stays there, plugging the hole that you would normally see in a pop rivet. These are perfect for attaching Nylon Padeyes to plastic kayaks.

Feedback:

You do not specify a maximum (boat) thickness. Will these pop rivets work on a cedar strip boat? My total boat thickness is close to ¼” .

I had to get one of the rivets and test it. I was able to make them work in up to 3/8" plywood. I think 1/8" would about the minimum.
