Race-Lite 600 series blocks have cheeks and straps of the highest quality 18-8 stainless steel, burnished to a high luster finish. Cheeks are flaired to eliminate line chafe, and punched with lightening holes to reduce weight. Sheaves are Nylon turning on stainless bearings.
