These utility oarlocks are good for beginners
as they hold the blade in position. They will clamp onto
a shaft from 1-1/4 to 1-3/4 inches in diameter without modification.
Mild steel construction permits modification to accomodate
just about any shaft size.
(note - Only the 1/2" oarlock (SD-582070) accepts
the Nylon bushings and only the SD-582054 zink angle mount oarlock sockets will work in that combination)

Nylon Oarlock Bushings:
To
use the Nylon bushings, be sure to buy the 1/2" oarlock (SD-582070) and the 5/8" sockets.
They
go together as shown below, and provide lower friction
while rowing.
