RL-690 - Transom Pintles

Our RL-690 transom pintles are the same as used on most Lightning class sailboats.

RL-690 Rudder Gudgeons for 1-1/2" through 3" rudders

Our RL-690 rudder gudgeons are similar to our RL-490 pintles but with no pin. They can be used with the RL-690 transom pintle or with the RL-490 gudgeon if a bolt or rod is run through them.

The set consists of two rudder gudgeons and two transom pintles - one with a short pin and one with a long pin. There is no hold down included. All parts are stainless steel - Fits rudders from 1-1/2" to 3" thick. See additional dimensions below

Note: The wider the rudder, the less movement this set allows if mounted flat against the transom. You may want to mount the transom pintle on a block to allow more movement of the rudder gudgeon.

strap - 3" to 3-3/4" (depending on width) x 1" x 3/32"
pin - 3/8" x 3"
rudder thicknesses: X=1-1/2", 1-7/8", 2", 2-1/4", 2-1/2", 2-3/4" or 3"
mounting holes 1/4" dia - 2" on centers
