.Stainless boom bail is 2-7/8" across, but can be formed a quarter inch or so either way. 3-3/8" long. Also can be used to attach a snotter to a mast.

This piece is made from 1/4" diameter stainless steel rod bent into a U then swaged on the ends and drilled 1/4". It's very robust.
