This Tiller Lock Kit is a patent pending rudder locking device with unlimited variability designed for all tiller controlled boats. The locking of the tiller is effected by a short pull upward which causes the control line to be firmly locked around the friction brake, thereby locking the rudder in place. To regain control of the steering, simply lower the tiller. The control line will slacken, allowing full control of the steering without any friction from the tiller lock.

Each tiller lock comes complete with the special friction brake, 3 fairleads, one aluminum Clamcleat® rope cleat, special friction rope, and all necessary fasteners.
