Linear Density is considered average weight per 100'. Tolerances: 3/16" - 5/16" diameters inclusive +plus or -minus 10%; 3/8" - 9/16"
inclusive +plus or -minus 18%; and 5/8" and up +plus or -minus 5%.
-
New rope Minimum Breaking Strength is based on data from a number of manufacturers and represents a value of 2 standard deviations below the mean, established by regression analysis.
-
For critical applications where life or limb of Dynamic Loading is present, use the higher ration division.
Example: 10,000 pounds/12 = 833 pounds working load ratio
