Naval Brass rod is much easier to cut and work than silicon bronze, yet it has many of the properties that make it useful on boats. Use it for all sorts of applications where an easily workable yet corrosion resistant and traditional looking material is needed.

Got the package yesterday. I drilled 2 small holes on either side of the brass rod to accommodate cotter pins & will use it to hold the tiller/rudder assy. in place. I'm sure it's not an original idea, but it should work well.

I'll send some more pics when the thing is done.
