The Lakeland 25 is a modern
double chined pulling boat designed for use on lakes, estuaries
and offshore by outward bound organizations, scout groups
etc. No frame set-up is required - she is made using simple
stitch and tape techniques with computer generated and faired
ply hull panels stitched together with preformed ply frames
and bulkheads. Epoxy and glass tape is then used on all the
hull seams and joins. 9mm plywood is used throughout. Twelve
rowers can be accommodated with space for their gear under
the seats. An outboard well is situated aft and the sole will
self drain when the boat is empty and at anchor. She could
take an inboard engine and be fitted out with a cabin and
more decking.
LOD 25' (7.64m); Beam OA 6'9"
(2.06m); Construction weight approx. 1000 lbs (454 kg).
