This pretty little Dutch style yacht finds it’s heritage in the Hegst fishing boats of the Scheldt area of Holland. Construction can be of ply or rough cheap timber for those who want a small, cheap live-aboard boat. She has room for two to sleep in the cockpit under a boom tent, double berth settee and large fore cabin for stowage. The cockpit/bunk fronts, frames and bottom hull panel are pre-shaped and form a prefabricated ply structure. The hull sides and bulwarks are then added oversize and trimmed later. The curvaceous bow is formed by 2 overlapping layers of ply for ease in construction.
