Tom Gale's A Duckah (with sail made from Egyptian sailcloth from Duckworks) "The sail was cut from a pattern of an old windsurfer sail, full cut, works very well."
We are pleased to offer Dacron sailcloth in
a dyed, Egyptian Cotton colored shade. Supplied to many
ships and yachts over the last few years, Challenge Egyptian
fits well on older boats, wooden boats and any boat where
a special old-fashioned character and charm is important.
Egyptian Dacron is not only visually pleasing, but reduces
glare also. And dye pigment offers slightly better UV protection
to the fibers than a standard finish. Egyptian Dacron is
resinated in a medium firm, pleasing to a hand finish, and
high quality weaves are used.
