Stitched to a sail's luff, these slugs allow sails to more easily go up and down a bolt rope slot. To raise the sail, insert the slugs into the slot rather than the boltrope.

You may want to use our sailmaker's D-shackles rather than lace or stitch these slugs to your sail.
