We
have intended to add these brushes to our store for some
time. We get them at a good price from the same wholesaler
who supplies our chip brushes.
That is why we can sell them so reasonably. Check
out the nice wooden dowel handles--not those cheesy plastic
ones. What we had been waiting for is a test.
We sent some samples to a customer, and this is what he
said:
"The brushes have worked well for everything
that I used them for. The possible exception was the high
build undercoat where the brush seemed to break down towards
the end of the session. The undercoat has a high talc
content and the consistency of concrete, and part of the
process was running the brush edgewise where the laps
meet.
"As I suspected, I used the 2"
brushes the most. What surprised me was how often I used
1" brushes for small epoxy coating jobs and 4"
brushes for painting. Usually I make do with the 2"
brushes I get from CLC, but the 4" really speeded up
the painting. I used the brushes with MAS epoxy (both fast
and slow hardeners) and Interlux Brightsides paint (one
part polyurethane). Most of the applications were rolled
on, then tipped with the brush.
