Shinto 11" Saw Rasp

Shinto Saw Rasps are manufactured from high quality saw blades with coarse teeth (11 teeth/inch) on one side and fine teeth (25 teeth/inch) on the other. Because of the saw tooth design, clogging is eliminated. Use the coarse side for shaping and very rapid removal of material and the fine side for a finish cut. Wood carvers love our saw rasps. They are also suitable for use on plastics, fibre glass and soft metals. Blade length is 11˝, overall length is 15½˝.
Shinto Planer Type Saw Rasp

The Shinto planer style saw rasps comes with a removable blade. The handles are raised so that it can be used over a large surface. The blade may be quickly reversed so that both coarse and fine teeth are readily available for use, The blade length is 10¬" and overall length is 15¼˝.
Feedback:
Working on some Ipe hand rails. The thing cuts the Ipe like butter and that's some HARD wood. Leaves a very smooth finish also. - Charlie Jones, Magnolia Beach, Texas

Hi Chuck,
Not really boat content but the rasp works very well for smoothing out recesses let into 4x6 rough cedar post (for a friend's sun shade). Will work on bottom of EasyB after the Bastrop messabout.
